...Pois Ubbo-Sathla é a fonte e o fim. Antes da chegada de
Zhothaqquah ou Yok-Zothoth ou Kthulhut das estrelas, Ubbo-Sathla habitava
as pântanos ferventes da Terra recém-criada: uma massa sem cabeça ou membros,
gerando os efts cinzentos e amorfos do princípio e os protótipos horríveis da
vida terrena... E toda vida terrestre, dizem, voltará por fim
pelo grande círculo do tempo a Ubbo-Sathla.
