Seed Poem
You're on my mind
Right now just to let you know,
As I write this trying to
Create a flow,
Like a river rushing
Through the trenches in the ground,
Like a boat in the ocean
With the sail down,
I'm thinking so hard
But my words are on flight,
But I know when they land
This poem will be just right,
Right for you
And fun to read,
That's why I'm trying to water
It down like you would do a seed,
Take care of it and nourish it,
So when it comes to be,
It'll be beautiful and sweet
When it comes from me.

Você está na minha cabeça
Agora só pra te avisar,
Enquanto escrevo isso tentando
Criar um fluxo,
Como um rio correndo
Pelas trincheiras no chão,
Como um barco no oceano
Com a vela abaixada,
Estou pensando tanto
Mas minhas palavras estão voando,
Mas eu sei que quando elas pousarem
Esse poema vai ficar perfeito,
Perfeito pra você
E divertido de ler,
É por isso que estou tentando regar
Como você faria com uma semente,
Cuidar e nutrir,
Pra quando ele brotar,
Vai ser lindo e doce
Quando vier de mim.
