I proved all the obvious with bitter contradictions
and I called you on your shit
with little to follow through on.
I fail this point of view
that you saw through.
With little hesitation
you set me straight.
Did we really make much difference?

This time we`ll fool ourselves with tired games
of acting pissed and seeking fame.
I bet on reactionary tones (reactionary tones).
With little to look forward to
we trudge on pessimistically alone,
growing more and more withdrawn.
Playing dangerous games of sub-conscience warning calls
and fucked conspiracies
that you can`t see as truth
As we forget,As I retreat
As you give up, As we continue on
And as we fool ourselves un-achieving change
we`ll still trudge on with little to look forward to.
And we hate ourselves expecting this change as we continue on.
