I've been working on myself recently
Reading all the books and throwing money at therapy
Got my diagnosis got some helpful techniques
I'm still not what you need, so here's the plan in front of me
I'm headed down to Mexico in a week
I'ma let that Sun burn the hell out of me
I might try a few drugs definitely try a few things
I'ma do whatever the hell makes me feel free
I moved along to a new city getting a fresh start
Hoping to recover me after a bit of a recharge
I'm still working on the deeper things deep in my heart
But I'm finally doing some of me doing some things that I want
I'm headed down to Mexico in a week
I'ma let that Sun burn the hell out of me

I'ma finish that book and never pick it up again
I'll be an eighth of a mile from the Sea of Cortez
You can say I'm struggling say I'm unhealthy
But I'm better off now nobody's trying to fix me
Called my doctor told him I won't be coming in
He laughed and said I'm glad you finally found that little kid
I asked him what took me so long to get it
He said "It usually does, and you got it faster than some others did"
