Among The Waves
In a world full of mechanical wonder
Fascinated by the speed and
Technology I am nothing more than
A simple wooden boat, I don't belong here
Among the wheels and spinning gears
I have spent my whole existence among
Those who know where they are going
And exactly where they have been
I felt I was meant for something more
Yet here is where I sit
I have spent my life dreaming of setting sail
Open water to see something more than land
The wind blows, brings me back
Whispering you'll never move, ill say this, I know what water feels like
Because I have been teased by the rain
Creating puddles. But move me, it does not. So I give up and
Take down my sail, to live my invisible existence
How I long to leave the shore and be tossed by the waves.
See the moonlight on its surface how beautiful that would be.

Em um mundo cheio de maravilhas mecânicas
Fascinado pela velocidade e
Tecnologia, sou nada mais que
Um simples barco de madeira, não pertenço aqui
Entre as rodas e engrenagens giratórias
Passei toda a minha existência entre
Aqueles que sabem para onde estão indo
E exatamente onde estiveram
Senti que estava destinado a algo mais
Mas aqui é onde eu estou
Passei minha vida sonhando em zarpar
Água aberta para ver algo além da terra
O vento sopra, me traz de volta
Sussurrando que você nunca vai se mover, vou dizer isso, sei como é a água
Porque fui provocado pela chuva
Criando poças. Mas me mover, não faz. Então eu desisto e
Recolho minha vela, para viver minha existência invisível
Como eu anseio deixar a costa e ser jogado pelas ondas.
Ver a luz da lua em sua superfície, como seria lindo.
