The Impossible Dream
To dream the impossible dream
To fight the unbeatable foe
To bear with unbearable sorrow
To run where the brave dare not go
To right to un-rightable wrong
To love pure and chaste from afar
To try when your arms are too weary
To reach the unreachable star
This is my quest to follow that star
No matter how hopeless and no matter how far
To fight for the right without question or pause
To be willing to march into hell for a heavenly cause
And I know if I'll only be true to this glorious quest
That my heart will be peaceful and calm
When I'm laid to my rest
And the world will be better for this
That one man scorned and covered with scars
Still strove with his last ounce of courage
To reach the unreachable stars

Sonhar o sonho impossível
Lutar contra o inimigo invencível
Suportar a dor insuportável
Correr onde os valentes não se atrevem a ir
Corrigir o erro que não se pode corrigir
Amar puro e casto à distância
Tentar quando seus braços estão cansados
Alcançar a estrela inalcançável
Esta é minha busca, seguir essa estrela
Não importa quão sem esperança e quão longe
Lutar pelo certo sem questionar ou hesitar
Estar disposto a marchar pro inferno por uma causa divina
E eu sei que se eu for fiel a essa busca gloriosa
Meu coração estará em paz e calmo
Quando eu descansar em paz
E o mundo será melhor por isso
Que um homem desprezado e cheio de cicatrizes
Ainda lutou com sua última gota de coragem
