Fear consumed me, hatred in my eyes, why?
Because of the world we live in and the absence of God.
My wretched life was full of so much strife,
until I met the one, there is love in the son.
I was brought into the world not knowing You,
and the example of how to live led me far away.
I thought of God as an angry fist in the sky, knowing one day I would pay.
Born blind.
I once was lost but now I'm found,
you know that I was born blind, until God opened up my eyes.
I went to church because I was bored, I went there just to play the game.
Until I met You, You are the truth.
Forgiving, everlasting.
Nascido cego
O medo me consumiu, ódio nos meus olhos, por quê?
Por causa do mundo em que vivemos e da ausência de Deus.
Minha vida miserável estava cheia de tanta luta,
fins que conheci aquele, há amor no filho.
Fui trazido ao mundo sem te conhecer,
e o exemplo de como viver me levou pra longe.
Eu via Deus como um punho raivoso no céu, sabendo que um dia eu pagaria.
Nascido cego.
Eu já estive perdido, mas agora estou encontrado,
você sabe que eu nasci cego, até que Deus abriu meus olhos.
Fui à igreja porque estava entediado, fui lá só pra brincar.
Até que te conheci, você é a verdade.
Perdoando, eterno.
