Life is rough, sometimes I feel like I would rather not go on,
I feel drowned in the cares of this bitter world,
sometimes I would like to see it all go away.
I'm trying to hold, sometimes by a thread,
God help me just to hold on, be my strength everyday.
I will not succumb.
I get pushed down, but I'll push right back,
I won't let this bitter world make me crack,
I fall to my knees and start to pray, this my strength for another day.

A vida é dura, às vezes sinto que preferia não continuar,
me sinto afogado nas preocupações deste mundo amargo,
as vezes eu gostaria de ver tudo isso desaparecer.
Estou tentando me segurar, às vezes por um fio,
Deus, me ajude a aguentar, seja minha força todo dia.
Eu não vou sucumbir.
Me empurram pra baixo, mas eu vou me levantar,
não vou deixar esse mundo amargo me quebrar,
caio de joelhos e começo a orar, essa é minha força para mais um dia.
