I was standing up for my rights when I got a ticket in my car
stating I was doing something that I had not do
My heart was beating fast when he said you're not guilty that you'll have a chance to state your case up in a court of law

Court day comes and here I go to state the facts I'm not alone
A room full of people are in here to they wait with me to fight their cause
the judge calls names one by one
each person claims their innocence
but the judge he sides up with the law and each person goes home unresolved.

Eu estava lutando pelos meus direitos quando recebi uma multa no meu carro
dizendo que eu estava fazendo algo que não fiz
Meu coração estava acelerado quando ele disse que eu não era culpado e que teria a chance de apresentar meu caso em um tribunal

O dia do julgamento chega e lá vou eu apresentar os fatos, não estou sozinho

mas o juiz se alinha com a lei e cada pessoa volta pra casa sem solução.
