To dream the impossible dream
to fight the unbeatable foe
to bear with unbearable sorrow
and to run where the brave dare not go
to right the unrightable wrong
and to love pure and chased from afar
to try when your arms are to weary
to reach the unreachable star
this is my quest to follow that star
and no matter how hopeless and no matter how far
to fight for the right without question or pause
to be willing to march into hell
for that heavenly cause
and i know if i'll only be true
to this glorious place
in my heart will be peaceful and calm
when I lay to my rest

and the world will be better for this...
that one man scorned and covered with scars
still strong with his last sounds of courage
to reach the unreachable... star

Sonhar o sonho impossível
lutar contra o inimigo invencível
suportar a dor insuportável
e correr onde os valentes não vão
corrigir o erro irremediável
e amar puro e distante
tentar quando os braços estão cansados
tocar a estrela inalcançável
essa é minha busca, seguir essa estrela
e não importa quão sem esperança e quão longe
lutar pelo certo sem questionar ou hesitar
estar disposto a marchar para o inferno
por essa causa celestial
e eu sei que se eu for fiel
a esse lugar glorioso
em meu coração haverá paz e calma
quando eu descansar

e o mundo será melhor por isso...
que um homem desprezado e cheio de cicatrizes
ainda forte com seus últimos ecos de coragem
para tocar a estrela inalcançável... estrela
