Que o Deus eternoThat the everlasting God
O Criador da terraThe Creator of the earth
Ele não se cansaHe fainteth not
Nem se fatigaNeither is He weary
Não há como entenderThere is no searching
A Sua sabedoriaOf His understanding
(Tenores) Ele dá força ao cansado(Tenors) He giveth power to the faint
E a quem não tem poderAnd to them that have no might
Ele aumenta sua forçaHe increaseth their strength

(Sopranos & Altos) Até os jovens vão se cansar &(Sopranos & Altos) Even the youth shall faint &
(Todos) Os rapazes vão cair de vez(All) The young me shall utterly fall

Mas os que esperam no SenhorBut they that wait upon the Lord
Renovarão suas forçasShall renew their strength
Eles subirãoThey shall mount up
Com asas como águiaWith wings as an eagle
Correrão e não se cansarãoThey shall run & not be weary
Andarão e não se fatigarãoThey shall walk & not faint

Mas os que esperam no SenhorBut they that wait upon the Lord
