I think i may be slipping
from old fashioned ways
i just can´t seem to pack it
in this new day and age.
i´ve got to get myself going
come on and get with the times
smarten up
get with the program
before i´m out of my prime
these days are flying out the door
i need something new to help me restore.
i´m not geriatric i´m not even grey
my years have plenty of gold
so why do i feel so old?
sometimes i get to thinking
what should i do with today
i need to stop thinking
go with my heart
not what my thoughts try to say
maybe someday i´ll climb up the latter
i´ll matter
i´ll get fatter
i´ll be sadder

Acho que estou perdendo
meus velhos costumes
não consigo me adaptar
neste novo dia e era.
preciso me movimentar
vamos lá, acompanhar os tempos
se liga
entra na onda
antes que eu perca meu brilho
esses dias estão passando rápido
preciso de algo novo pra me reerguer.
não sou idoso, nem estou grisalho
meus anos têm muito valor
então por que me sinto tão velho?
às vezes fico pensando
o que devo fazer hoje
preciso parar de pensar
seguir meu coração
não o que minha mente tenta dizer
quem sabe um dia eu suba a escada
vou importar
vou engordar
vou ficar triste
