I've got a sweety and I go to see her every night
And I'd like nothing better to kiss and hold her tight
But I never get to do it were always ever home
She got a bodyguard that just won't leave us alone
With his tale a wagging and his tongue a hanging out
He growls to warn me if there were any doubts
He's there to protect her and nothing's gonna make him leave her

I'd like to hug and kiss her but I know I'm just out of luck
She says her daddy as had that dog since he was a pup
And he trained him to attack anyone who lays an hand on his child
And just sittin' here thinkin' about it almost drives me wild

Now I'm gonna get my nerve up and do what my heart says is right

Eu tenho uma fofinha e vou vê-la toda noite
E eu não queria nada mais do que beijá-la e segurá-la bem apertado
Mas nunca consigo fazer isso, estamos sempre em casa
Ela tem um segurança que não nos deixa em paz
Com o rabo abanando e a língua de fora
Ele rosna pra me avisar se houver alguma dúvida
Ele tá lá pra proteger ela e nada vai fazer ele deixá-la
Aquele labrador amoroso, lambendo, rindo, grandão e desajeitado
Eu queria abraçar e beijar ela, mas sei que tô sem sorte
Ela diz que o pai dela tem esse cachorro desde que ele era filhote
E ele treinou o bicho pra atacar quem colocar a mão na filha
E só de pensar nisso, quase me deixa maluco
