Nox Noctis Aeternus
Watch me as I fade away into ethereal darkness,
And in hell I shall reign forever, and though I wander still
Prudence, and though I wander amidst streams of forgotten souls,
that not even a hundred miles would suffice,
their judging between appropriate and action a lie.
There upon do I this body bring,
to tell you who I am is to lay words of since in the rain,
As of yet my name makes no great noise,
Though I under many legions rise Rofacole am I.
Justice, An Allegoric Lie,
Let faces of purity be twisted backwards
and since humanity wishes to only look forward,
their faces twisted towards the backward path like gnarled oaks.
Temperance, When the sea is silent,
in awe of the pollution they call light, now a fading dissident.
Courage, Halfway along the path of life,
righteousness, they good always falter into madness,
lay a waste most humankind in ill-gotten suicide.
Noite Eterna
Me observe enquanto eu desapareço na escuridão etérea,
E no inferno eu reinarei para sempre, e embora eu ainda vagueie
Prudência, e embora eu vagueie entre correntes de almas esquecidas,
que nem mesmo cem milhas seriam suficientes,
seu julgamento entre o que é apropriado e a ação é uma mentira.
Aqui trago este corpo,
para te dizer quem eu sou é colocar palavras de sentido na chuva,
Até agora meu nome não faz grande barulho,
Embora eu sob muitas legiões me levante, sou Rofacole.
Justiça, Uma Mentira Alegórica,
Que rostos de pureza sejam torcidos para trás
e já que a humanidade deseja apenas olhar para frente,
suas faces torcidas em direção ao caminho de trás como carvalhos retorcidos.
Temperança, Quando o mar está em silêncio,
em admiração pela poluição que chamam de luz, agora um dissidente em extinção.
Coragem, A meio caminho da vida,
a retidão, os bons sempre vacilam na loucura,
destruindo a maior parte da humanidade em suicídio mal adquirido.
