A Funny Man
One day a funny kind of man
Came walking down this street
He wore a shoe upon his head
And hats upon his feet,
He raised the shoe and smiled at me
His manners were polite
But never had I seen before
such a funny sounding sight
He said : « Allow me to present
Your highness with a rose »
An taking out a current bun
He held it ti his nose
Staggered back against the wall
And the I answered : « well,
I never saw a rose with such
A funny looking smell ».
He the began to sing a song
Mmmmmm.........................
and sat down on the ground
You never heard in all yollur life
Such a funny feeling sound
« My friend, why do you wear
2 hats upon your feet? » I said
He turned the other way about
And hopped on his head.

Um dia, um tipo engraçado
Veio andando por essa rua
Ele usava um sapato na cabeça
E chapéus nos pés,
Levantou o sapato e sorriu pra mim
Seus modos eram educados
Mas nunca tinha visto antes
Um espetáculo tão engraçado
Ele disse: « Permita-me apresentar
Sua alteza com uma rosa »
E tirando um pãozinho
Ele o segurou no nariz
Bati as costas na parede
E então eu respondi: « bem,
Nunca vi uma rosa com um
Cheiro tão engraçado ».
Então ele começou a cantar uma canção
Mmmmmm.........................
e sentou no chão
Você nunca ouviu em toda a sua vida
Um som tão engraçado e estranho
« Meu amigo, por que você usa
2 chapéus nos pés? » eu disse
Ele virou de costas
E pulou em cima da cabeça.
