this is starting to look a lot like me
and since i'm no good at painting this portraits made of
hair and string and little things that all remind me
exactly how inconsistent i can be
they say the heroes sink into the sun
well the villains have all the fun
and you know me i never sleep
theres only one crowd that will stay up with me
lately i havent been able to get a hold of
too many drugs
so instead i went and
fell in love with a girl that has yellow hair
which reminds me
summer is fleeting as this will be
oh in this kind of summer heat
you'll catch everyone whispering
so under your breath sing along
cuz it looks like the cowards won

isso tá começando a parecer muito comigo
e como eu não sou bom em pintar, esse retrato é feito de
cabelo e fio e pequenas coisas que me lembram
exatamente como eu posso ser inconsistente
dizem que os heróis afundam no sol
bem, os vilões se divertem pra caramba
e você me conhece, eu nunca durmo
só tem uma galera que vai ficar acordada comigo
ultimamente eu não consegui me segurar em
muitas drogas
então ao invés disso eu fui e
me apaixonei por uma garota que tem cabelo amarelo
que me lembra
que o verão é passageiro como isso vai ser
oh, nesse tipo de calor de verão
você vai ouvir todo mundo sussurrando
então sob sua respiração cante junto
porque parece que os covardes ganharam
