Well I've been watching, news everyday
And all I see is, the government running away
They spend our money, yeah every dime
They change the law so, no one does the time
We ask for changes, yeah we agree
But not the kind that brings the people down to its knees
And, don't you know this country's mine?

And they all say: We want our country back again
You're making changes, that we don't need
It looks to me like all you care about is greed
