Selfishly Inclined

They must be lying when they say I'll be fine
'Cause I've lot all of my friendships, and I waste my time
I'll just keep dreaming when we get out of bed
So I'll never have to live up to what's in my head

And I keep getting tired
Of my antagonistic state of mind
I get caught in the fire
But I'm the one who starts it every time

And I know that I lost myself in all the lights
And I've got tendencies to leave the ones that love me most behind
And I know that I'm selfishly inclined most of the time
I try to fix it, but I just can't get it right
