I took a walk down by the sea
And I listened to her strength
And I saw how tall I was
Realized how small I was
And I wonder...
Why the world should care for me?
I looked up into the swirling sky
Saw the clouds go rushing by
Realized how slow I was
And I saw how low I was
And I wondered....
Why the sun should shine for me?

Eu fui dar uma volta à beira-mar
E escutei a força dela
E vi o quão alto eu estava
Percebi o quão pequeno eu sou
E fiquei pensando...
Por que o mundo deveria se importar comigo?
Olhei para o céu em turbilhão
Vi as nuvens passando rápido
Percebi o quão devagar eu sou
E vi o quão baixo eu estou
E fiquei me perguntando...
Por que o sol deveria brilhar para mim?
