Beneath the oppressive, yet magnificent crown of clouds
Trees sway in the winds of uttermost dark within
The dead ones bleed in rapture clad in shrouds
The seas of Euphoria correspond with the affliction, therein
I, a dweller of the dark and the hall of sorrow,
in silence disembark to the paths unhallow
Autumnwind my betrothed guide me on my journey afar
Child of winter dismay wilt thou be my guiding star?
Once on a misty day in mid-autumn
I walked upon the fallen leaves of gold

I wandered amidst the towering trees

Sob a opressiva, mas magnífica coroa de nuvens
As árvores balançam nos ventos da escuridão total
Os mortos sangram em êxtase, envoltos em mortalhas
Os mares de Euforia correspondem com a aflição, ali
Eu, um habitante da escuridão e do salão da dor,
em silêncio desembarco para os caminhos profanos
Vento de outono, meu noivo, guia-me em minha jornada distante
Filho do inverno, desespero, serás tu minha estrela guia?
Certa vez, em um dia nebuloso no meio do outono
Caminhei sobre as folhas caídas de ouro
Certa vez, em um dia frio de um outono esquecido
Vaguei entre as árvores imponentes
