Sonho de Natal

I dreamed I spent my Christmas with my family

I heard the sleigh bells ringing from afar

I dreamed I helped my sisters decorate the tree

And my brother held me up to hang the star

Mama and my papa and all the kis were there

We opened up our presents then we had the family prayer

I spent a lovely Christmas with my family even if it was a Christmas dream

I dreamed I spent my Christmas with the family

And what I wouldn't give if it were so

I dreamed my mama kissed me and buttoned up my coat

And said now go and play out in the snow

Poor old papa carved the turkey and little sister cut the cake

Then we bowed our heads and all gay things we said in Jesus name and for his sake

I had a lovely Christmas with my family even if it was a Christmas dream

Eu sonhei que passei meu Natal com minha família

Ouvi os sinos do trenó tocando de longe

Eu sonhei que ajudei minhas irmãs a enfeitar a árvore

E meu irmão me levantou pra pendurar a estrela

Mamãe e papai e todas as crianças estavam lá

Abrimos nossos presentes e depois fizemos a oração em família

Eu passei um Natal lindo com minha família, mesmo que fosse um sonho de Natal

Eu sonhei que passei meu Natal com a família

E o que eu não daria se fosse verdade

Eu sonhei que minha mãe me beijou e abotoou meu casaco

E disse agora vai brincar lá fora na neve

Pobre papai velho assou o peru e a irmãzinha cortou o bolo

Então baixamos nossas cabeças e todas as coisas alegres dissemos em nome de Jesus e por sua causa

Eu tive um Natal lindo com minha família, mesmo que fosse um sonho de Natal
