I can't understand she let go of my hand an' left me here facing the wall

I'd sure like to know why she did go but I can't get close to her at all

Though we kissed through the wild blazing nighttime she said she would never forget But now morning is clear it's like I ain't here she just acts like we never have met

If I didn't have to guess well I'd gladly confess to anything that I might have tried

If I was with her too long or I've done something wrong

I wish she'd tell me what it is I'll run and hide

From darkness dreams are deserted am I still dreaming yet

Well I wish she'd unlock her voice once and talk stead

If she ain't feeling well then why don't she tell stead of turning her back to my face

Without any doubt now she seems too far out for me to return to her chase

Se eu não tivesse que adivinhar, eu confessaria qualquer coisa que eu pudesse ter tentado

Se eu estive com ela tempo demais ou se fiz algo errado

Eu queria que ela me dissesse o que é, eu correria e me esconderia

Bem, eu gostaria que ela desbloqueasse sua voz e falasse em vez de agir como se nunca tivéssemos nos encontrado
