The moon is nearly full
These old hills are full of light
The woman I love don't want me
And people I just can't feel right
I got a lot of friends
And they are so kind to me
But they're just kind to a shadow
Of the man I used to be
She loves somebody else
That story's older than the moon
I wrote my one little chapter
I hope to close the book real soon
Morning has to come
And the black sky turn to blue
