Dark is the jungle where I live
My sensors detect another fugitive
The reptiles glide by on their way
Now even the trees are shaking today
And it's got me deep down in the trenches
Camouflaged by the branches
And fear has sharpened my senses
I'll set an ambush and I'll wait
For this impending danger
The sound of footsteps getting even closer
And like the lone ranger
I cocked the hammer and caressed the trigger
Then I saw the stranger
I drop my weapons, there's no need for cover
Like poetry that's how you came
Now even the birds are singing today
I'm mesmerised by tings you say
Transformed my life like the goddess of clay
And it seems you
Neutralised my defences
And terminate my offensive
We'll synchronise our chances
And exchange extraction, beam us away
