Younger Generation
Why must every generation think their folks are square
And no matter where their heads are they know mom ain´t there

And I must be permissive, understanding of the younger generation

And all my deepest worries must be his cartoons
And still I´ll try to them him all the things I´ve done
Related to what he can do when he becomes a man

Por que toda geração acha que seus pais são caretas
E não importa onde estejam, sabem que a mãe não tá lá
Porque eu jurei quando era pequeno que ia lembrar quando
Eu sabia o que tinha de errado com eles, que eu era menor então
Determinado a lembrar todas as regras básicas
Como chuvas de sol são motivo legal pra cortar aula
Eu sei que esqueci talvez uma ou duas
E espero lembrar de todas antes do bebê chegar
E eu sei que ele vai ter uma ou duas perguntas
Como "E aí, pai, posso andar na minha moto
Ela vai a duzentas por hora suspensa por balões

E imaginar dragões espumando enquanto você se acaba fumando"
E eu devo ser permissivo, compreensivo com a geração mais nova
Então eu vou saber que tudo que aprendi meu filho assume
