There was a boy...
A very strange enchanted boy.
They say he wandered very far, very far
Over land and sea,
A little shy and very sad of eye
But very wise was he.
And then one day,
One summer day, he passed my way.
And as we spoke of many things,
Fools and kings,
This he said to me,
The greatest thing that you will ever learn
Is just to love and be loved in return.

Um menino muito estranho encantado.
Dizem que ele vagava muito longe, muito longe
Por terra e mar,
Um pouco tímido e muito triste de olho
Mas muito sábio era ele.
E então um dia,
Num dia de verão, ele passou do meu jeito.
E como falamos de muitas coisas,
Fools e reis,
