O, say, can u see?
by the dawn's early light?
what so proudly we hailed, at the twilights least gleaming.
whose broad stripes and bright stars,
throught the perolous night,
o'r the rampardes we watched, were so gallently streaming.
and the rockets red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
gave proof through the night, that our flag was still there.
o, say, does the star spangled banner yet wave?
for the land of the free, and the home of the brave!

Ó, diga, você consegue ver?
pela luz da manhã que desponta?
o que tão orgulhosamente celebramos, ao menos brilho do crepúsculo.
cujas largas listras e estrelas brilhantes,
através da noite perigosa,
por sobre os muros que observamos, estavam tão valentemente tremulando.
e o brilho vermelho dos foguetes, as bombas estourando no ar,
davam prova durante a noite, que nossa bandeira ainda estava lá.
ó, diga, a bandeira estrelada ainda está tremulando?
por esta terra dos livres, e o lar dos corajosos!
