Happy Is The Man
Happy is the man
who doesn't live
according to the advice of the wicked (x2)
And does not stand in the way of sinners,
nor sit in the seat of the scornful.
But who finds delight in God's Torah (law)
And reflects on His torah day and night (x2)
And he shall be like a tree
planted by streams of water,
that bringeth forth its fruit in its season,
and whose leaf doth not wither;
and in whatsoever he doeth he shall prosper.

Feliz é o homem
que não vive
segundo o conselho dos ímpios (x2)
E não se coloca no caminho dos pecadores,
nem se assenta na roda dos zombadores.
Mas que encontra prazer na Torá de Deus
e medita na Sua Torá dia e noite (x2)
E ele será como uma árvore
plantada junto a ribeiros de água,
que dá seu fruto na estação certa,
e cujas folhas não murcham;
e tudo o que ele faz prospera.
