There sits Simon,
so foolishly wise
proudly he's tending his nets
Then Jesus calls,
and the boats drift away
all that he owns he forgets
More than the nets
he abandoned that day,
he found that his pride was soon drifting away
It's hard to imagine the freedom we find

Matthew was mindful
of taking the tax,
pressing the people to pay
Hearing the call,
he responded in faith
followed the Light and the Way

the greed in his heart

from posessions

seguiu a Luz e o Caminho

tão confuso, ele descobriu,
que a ganância em seu coração
já não estava mais lá e

Todo coração precisa ser libertado,
das posses
que o seguram tão firme
Porque a liberdade não está nas coisas que possuímos,
É o poder
de fazer o que é certo
Jesus, nossa única posse,
dar se torna nosso prazer
Não conseguimos imaginar a liberdade que encontramos

Mostramos amor pelo mundo em nossas vidas
adorando bens que possuímos
Jesus deixou todos os nossos tesouros de lado
