Deep in the bosom of the gentle night
is when I search for the light
pick up my pen and start to write
I struggle I fight
dark forces in the clear moonlight
without fear - insomnia

I used to worry
thought I was going mad in a hurry
getting stressed making excess mess in darkness
no electricity something's all over me
greasy insomnia please release me

to my girl on the heath
Tearing off tights with my teeth
but there's no release no peace
I toss and turn without cease
like a curse open my eyes and rise like yeast
at least a couple of weeks since I last slept
kept taking sleepers
but now I keep myself pepped
deeper still that night
I write by candlelight I find insight
fundamental movement huh so when it's black
this insomniac take an original tack
keep the beast in my nature
under ceaseless attack

No fundo do seio da noite serena
é quando eu busco a luz
pego minha caneta e começo a escrever
luto, eu brigo
forças sombrias na luz clara da lua
sem medo - insônia
não consigo dormir
Eu costumava me preocupar
achava que estava ficando maluco depressa
ficando estressado, fazendo uma bagunça na escuridão
sem eletricidade, algo está em cima de mim
insônia gordurosa, por favor, me liberte
e me deixe sonhar em fazer amor louco
com minha garota no campo
Rasgando as meias com os dentes
mas não há libertação, não há paz
me viro e reviro sem parar
como uma maldição, abro os olhos e me levanto como fermento
pelo menos algumas semanas desde que dormi pela última vez
continuei tomando soníferos
mas agora me mantenho animado
de forma mais profunda ainda naquela noite
escrevo à luz de vela, encontro clareza
movimento fundamental, huh, então quando está escuro
esse insone toma um caminho original
mantenho a besta na minha natureza
