The Lord is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the strength of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid?
when the wicked, even mine enimies and my foes,
came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
Though a host should encamp against me, my heart shll not fear;
though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.

O Senhor é minha luz e minha salvação;
de quem eu terei medo?
O Senhor é a força da minha vida;
de quem eu terei receio?
Quando os ímpios, até meus inimigos e adversários,
vieram contra mim para devorar minha carne, tropeçaram e caíram.
Ainda que um exército se acampe contra mim, meu coração não temerá;
mesmo que a guerra se levante contra mim, nisso eu estarei confiante.
