Finish Your Food
She made me breakfast in bed
But she's on my scramble eggs(YEAH)
Not one single word but said
She just smiled and kissed me on my forehead and left for work
I pick up my fork and I ate
Not suspecting anything
Then I notice a letter on the tray
So I opened up
To see what it had to say
And it read....
I'm leaving you
Don't get up
I'm all ready gone
Finish your food
I'm out the door
Good look and so long
I got up as fast as u could
Well,I almost tripped and fell
Running down the stairs
I look around
And all my furniture was gone
And sure enough
She was no longer there
Good smell coming from the kitchen
I look to find more scrambled eggs
When another note laying by the stove
So I pick it up and this is what it said
I'm leaving you
Don't get up
I'm all ready gone
Finish your food
I'm out the door
Good luck and so long
I sat there on the floor,
Asking myself what for
What would make her
Leave out the door
And had me even more confused
Was why would she make breakfast
Before she move?
And I didn't have a clue

Então notei uma carta na bandeja

O que tinha pra dizer

Levantei o mais rápido que pude
Quase tropecei e caí
Descendo as escadas
Olhei ao redor
E todos os meus móveis tinham sumido
E claro que
Ela não estava mais lá
Um cheiro bom vindo da cozinha
Procurei mais omelete
Quando encontrei outra nota perto do fogão
Peguei e isso é o que dizia
Estou te deixando
Não se levante
Já fui embora

Estou saindo pela porta

Eu sentei no chão,
Me perguntando o porquê
O que faria ela
Sair pela porta
E o que me deixou ainda mais confuso
Foi o porquê dela ter feito café da manhã
Antes de ir embora?
E eu não tinha a menor ideia
