Drink michigan drink

Hang your jacket up on the cat rack,

Leaving this town,

Never coming back.

I'd believe you if i hadn't said that all before.

If our lives hadn't lost their balance the rope would have snapped on the first step out.

And i just can't live without hanging on to the things in the past,

Pints and empty's stacked in the trash and every winter i get lost and dreaming of a better place to rest.

Seen some doctors more than some family,

A little blood drawn,

A liver function test.

Later on i'll do some tests of my own.

Deixando essa cidade,

Nunca mais voltando.

Eu acreditaria em você se eu não tivesse dito isso tudo antes.

Se nossas vidas não tivessem perdido o equilíbrio, a corda teria estourado no primeiro passo pra fora.

E eu simplesmente não consigo viver sem me agarrar às coisas do passado,

Canecos e vazios empilhados no lixo e todo inverno eu me perco sonhando com um lugar melhor pra descansar.

Vi mais médicos do que alguns familiares,

Um pouco de sangue coletado,

Um teste de função hepática.

Mais tarde, vou fazer alguns testes por conta própria.

Se nossas vidas não tivessem perdido o equilíbrio, a corda teria estourado no primeiro passo pra fora.

E está tudo na minha cabeça,

Eu simplesmente não consigo entender,

Mas por enquanto eu não consigo viver sem.
