Someone

Playgrounded

All these cracks affirm one's soul, in between
How can love withhold such pain

Someone watched an empty sky
Spoke to illusions bearing stars
Some roots maintain his body
To meet the waves that soak the barren

A hug portrayed the lack of sunlight
The deep revealed what shined the most
In between, hands unite unbalance
Convey the trace that we devise

All these cracks affirm one's soul, in between
How can love withhold such pain

Every circle with its weakness
Every monster with its fears
Recurrence marks a new return
Again, again, and again

Someone found in peaceful silence
Whispering, calling out
Breath became our pacing ally
Rhythm, our form of death
