Writings of Genesis; The First Day
In the beginning,
God created the heavens and the earth,
The earth was proved to be formless,
And waste,
And there was darkness upon the watery deep,
God proceeded to say,
"Let light come to be."
Like magic light came to be,
God then came to say that light was good,
And He brought forth a division,
Between light and darkness,
The light was to be named day,
The darkness was to be named night,
Then there came to be evening,
And there came to be morning,
The first day.
Escritos de Gênesis; O Primeiro Dia
No começo,
Deus criou os céus e a terra,
A terra se mostrou sem forma,
E vazia,
E havia trevas sobre o abismo aquoso,
Deus então disse,
"Que haja luz."
Como mágica, a luz surgiu,
Deus então declarou que a luz era boa,
E Ele fez uma separação,
Entre luz e trevas,
A luz seria chamada dia,
As trevas seriam chamadas noite,
Então veio a tarde,
E veio a manhã,
O primeiro dia.
