Moments Of Meditation
I see the sky and wonder why it's blue instead of red
I see a tree that's lost its leaves and wonder why it's dead
And the sun that keeps us warm and fills the day with light
Then I marvel at the stars that twinkle through the night
The mountain peaks that stand so high they seem to disappear into the sky
And across the snow capped mountain I see the blue horizon
With streaks of whiter that linger there behind the jets sublime
Such miracles my eyes behold all part of God's creation
There's so much beauty to be seen in moments of meditation
I speak to God while quiet and still the questions in my mind
Of things that I don't understand each myst'ry that I find
I find the answer quickly there for my soul's salvation
When I talk to God in moments of meditation
I ask God why someone like I should be so richtly blessed
While some who speaks his name so true and hungry and distressed
Then his voice is silent in my meditation with him
Which lets me know that some things must be known only to him
There's none so great as God the father the king of all kings
The writer of each holy word and creator of all things
He gave his son to offer life through Jesus Christ salvation
That every man might speak with him in moments of meditation
Momentos de Meditação
Eu vejo o céu e me pergunto por que é azul em vez de vermelho
Eu vejo uma árvore que perdeu suas folhas e me pergunto por que está morta
E o sol que nos aquece e ilumina o dia com sua luz
Então eu me maravilho com as estrelas que brilham durante a noite
Os picos das montanhas que se erguem tão altos que parecem desaparecer no céu
E além da montanha coberta de neve eu vejo o horizonte azul
Com faixas de branco que ficam ali atrás dos jatos sublimes
Tais milagres meus olhos contemplam, parte da criação de Deus
Há tanta beleza a ser vista em momentos de meditação
Eu falo com Deus enquanto estou quieto e calmo, as perguntas na minha mente
Sobre coisas que não entendo, cada mistério que encontro
Eu encontro a resposta rapidamente ali para a salvação da minha alma
Quando falo com Deus em momentos de meditação
Eu pergunto a Deus por que alguém como eu deveria ser tão ricamente abençoado
Enquanto alguns que falam seu nome com tanta verdade estão famintos e aflitos
Então sua voz fica em silêncio na minha meditação com ele
O que me faz saber que algumas coisas devem ser conhecidas apenas por ele
Não há ninguém tão grande quanto Deus, o pai, o rei de todos os reis
O escritor de cada palavra sagrada e criador de todas as coisas
Ele deu seu filho para oferecer vida através da salvação de Jesus Cristo
Para que todo homem possa falar com ele em momentos de meditação
