Watching my watch tick the time away
Watching through the window the skies turning grey
My eyes get so lonesome at times I can't see these long lonely walls keep watching me
Watching your pillow unused since you'd left
Makes the pain sharpen that runs through my chest
Watching my hands tremble just thinking of you
Then my mind starts to wonderin' oh what will I do
Watching the shadows of evening come down then soon the darkness covers the mound
Watch a dim light bulb out in the hall flicker its light through a crack in my wall

Observando meu relógio marcar o tempo passar
Observando pela janela o céu ficando cinza
Meus olhos ficam tão solitários que às vezes não consigo ver essas longas paredes solitárias me observando
Observando seu travesseiro, sem uso desde que você foi embora
Faz a dor que corre pelo meu peito ficar mais aguda
Observando minhas mãos tremendo só de pensar em você
Então minha mente começa a divagar, oh, o que eu vou fazer
Observando as sombras da noite caírem, então logo a escuridão cobre o monte
Vejo uma lâmpada fraca no corredor piscando sua luz através de uma fresta na minha parede
