Born To Bloom

Roo Panes

(Come on, come on)
(Come on, come on)
(You're born to bloom)
(Come on, come on)

If ever there was evergreen
Then it's something that you said to me
It's that living is for loving
So just love and be free

But if in all your flying you see
Someone crying in the hazel trees
Go and land upon a branch softly
And like the robin, sing it gently

Come on, come on
Come on, come on
You're born to bloom
It's never too late, it's never too soon

So down the well where dreamers go
To that sea of multi coloured coats
Where it's dark as a November night
She tells the sleepers of the morning light

And I woke one autumn from that dream
That many dawns ago it did begin
With one little bird that had a song
Until all the others sang along

Come on, come on
Come on, come on
You're born to bloom
It's never too late, it's never too soon

Oh, Charlotte, I'm back to writing poems again
Waking up early for the Sun
And somehow it feels like it's begun again
I'm new, as the bluest river's blue

Come on, come on
Come on, come on
You're born to bloom
It's never too late, it's never too soon

Come on, come on
Come on, come on
You're born to bloom

I believe there is a dream
I believe there is a dream
I believe there is a dream
I believe there is a dream
I believe there is a dream for you
