Feeding on failures that already fell
While out in the forest but well within reach

At least one bigger issue
A thousand greater needs
At least one way that he could help
But he has to grow himself

You work hard and diligent
But only grow when it rains

Sleeping in shadows, secondhand Sun
And herein lies the issue
In trying to grow strong and tall
There’s just one shot at the Sun
If she ever chooses to shine at all

And hold himself upright
Has to carry on growing

Mas ele tem que crescer

Você trabalha duro e diligente
Mas só cresce quando chove
Para sempre e sempre, até que um dia termine
Dormindo nas sombras, sol de segunda mão
E aqui reside a questão
Ao tentar crescer forte e alto
Há apenas um tiro no sol
Se ela optar por brilhar
Porque ele tem que ficar de pé quando o vento sopra
E mantenha-se de pé
Tem que continuar crescendo
É sombra ou ser sombreado, não menos
