Playing shows and writing songs could've been much more than you can get out of sitting around and being unproductive.

There's a lot more than being like the other kids. At least I have something to do with myself. Did you ever notice how sometimes you take for granted what you need, like having friends and good times and never losing touch? But I guess you found something else to hold on to, like a girl or money or being bitter to the end.

I'd like to think of the days when we didn't have to, and everything that ever meant some to you? You only thought you had to circle so far, and then come back down to sacrifice this one last thing.

Fazendo shows e escrevendo músicas, poderia ser muito mais do que ficar sentado sem fazer nada.

Tem muito mais do que ser igual aos outros. Pelo menos eu tenho algo pra fazer. Você já percebeu como às vezes você não valoriza o que precisa, como ter amigos, bons momentos e nunca perder o contato? Mas acho que você encontrou outra coisa pra se apegar, como uma garota, dinheiro ou ser amargo até o fim.

Eu gostaria de lembrar dos dias em que não precisávamos, e tudo que já teve algum valor pra você? Você só achou que tinha que rodar tão longe, e então voltar pra sacrificar essa última coisa.
