Bookstore Bore
I can't explain
How it pleases me
To open a book
And begin to Read
Sure I'm a nerd
But can't change who I am
I love to read
Why should you give a damn
About what I do
And How I spend my time
Its my choice
And it's a big part of my life
When I was young I thought
school SUCKED
But then Something changed
I started to read
More - and - began to use my brain
(what little there is left of it)
Upon graduation
My infatuation
With learning
Only grew

Mas não posso mudar quem sou
Adoro ler
Por que você deveria se importar
Com o que eu faço
E como gasto meu tempo
É minha escolha
E é uma parte grande da minha vida
Quando eu era jovem, achava
que a escola era uma droga
Mas então algo mudou
Comecei a ler
Mais - e - passei a usar minha cabeça
(o pouco que ainda resta dela)
Ao me formar
Minha paixão
Pelo aprendizado
Só cresceu
