Even in shadows, the light isn't blind
In the darkness, my thoughts take flight
Wandering lost through a fractured night
Eyes so heavy, they're closing fast
Dreams of hope feel chained to the past
But the maze has a path if you dare to believe
Through sorrow and doubt, a chance to be free

The mosquitos bite, they feast on my pain
Life slips away like a fleeting refrain
