I've always told myself that the hate is bad,
yet sometimes it's so hard
And this smile I wear upon my face often seems
like a disguise
I know I have my opinions, but I never mean to hurt
It's funny, that how the ones I love always seem to suffer
the most
I went and opened my big mouth again
And I've lost myself another friend
But if people like that are so easily fazed
Then maybe they weren't real friends in the first place
Just because one is a friend doesn't mean you
have to agree
In fact, a good argument can often prove to be healthy
A friend is there to share the good and to help out
with the bad
And if you know someone that does then you've found yourself a good one

mas às vezes é tão difícil
E esse sorriso que eu uso no rosto muitas vezes parece
uma máscara
Eu sei que tenho minhas opiniões, mas nunca quero machucar
É engraçado como aqueles que amo sempre parecem sofrer
mais
Eu fui e abri a boca de novo
E perdi mais um amigo
Mas se pessoas assim se abalam tão facilmente
Então talvez não fossem amigos de verdade desde o começo
Só porque alguém é amigo não significa que você
precisa concordar
Na verdade, uma boa discussão pode ser saudável
Um amigo está lá para compartilhar o bom e ajudar
com o ruim
E se você conhece alguém que faz isso, então você encontrou um bom amigo.
