Aquele que habita à proteção do AltíssimoHe who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
Encontrará descanso à sombra do OnipotenteWill find rest in the shadow 'f the Almighty
Eu direi do Senhor, Ele é meu refúgioI will say of the Lord, He is my refuge
Meu Deus e meu escudo em quem eu confioMy God and my shield in whom I trust
Pois certamente Ele te livrará do laço do passarinheiroFor surely He will save you from the fowler's snare
E da pestilência destrutiva tambémAnd from the deadly pestilence as well
Ele te encobrirá com suas penasHe will cover over you with His feathers
E ali, debaixo de suas asas, encontrarás pazAnd there under His wings you will find peace
E a Sua fidelidade será teu escudoAnd His faithfulness will be your shield

Não temerás o terror da noiteYou'll not fear the terror of the night time
Nem da flecha que voa durante o diaNor the arrow that flies by day
Nem a pestilência que espreita nas trevasNor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness
Nem da praga que destrói ao meio-diaNor the plague that destroys at midday
Mil podem cair ao teu ladoA thousand may fall at your side
Dez mil podem cair à tua direitaTen thousand may fall at your right hand
Mas (o mal) não se aproximará de tiBut it will not come near you
Você apenas veráYou will only see
Você apenas observará quando o juízo chegarYou will only observe when judgement comes
Pois ele ordena seus anjos a teu respeitoFor He commands His angels concerning you
Para te guardar, onde quer que foresTo guard you wherever you may go
Para estar contigo, e te carregar em suas mãosTo be with you, and lift you in their hands
Para que tu não tropeces o teu pé contra uma pedraSo that you won't strike your foot against a stone

Bem, se fizeres do Altíssimo tua moradaWell if you make the Most High your dwelling
O Senhor que é meu refúgioEven the Lord who is my refuge
Certamente nenhum grande mal te sobreviráSurely no great harm will befall you
Nem desastre se aproximará de teu larNor disaster will come there near your home
Pois ele ordena seus anjos a teu respeitoFor He commands His angels concerning you
Para te guardar, onde quer que foresTo guard you wherever you may go
Para estar contigo, e te carregar em suas mãosTo be with you, and lift you in their hands

Eu o protegerei, pois ele conhece meu NomeI will protect him, for he knows my Name
Ele clamará a mim e eu respondereiHe will call on me and I will answer
Estarei com ele sempre e o honrareiI will be with him always and I will honor him
