A Beautiful Life
Each day I'll do a golden deed
By helping those who are in need
My life on earth is but a span
And so I'll do the best I can
Life's even sun is sinking low
A few more days and I must go
To meet the deeds that I have done
Where there will be no setting sun
To be a child of God each day
My light must shine along the way
I'll sing His praise while ages roll
And strive to help some troubled soul
The only life that will endure
Is one that's kind and good and pure
And so for God I'll take my stand
Each day I'll lend a helping hand
I'll help someone in time of need
And journey on with rapid speed
I'll help the sick and poor and weak
And words of kindness to them speak
While going down life's weary road
I'll try to lift some travler's load
I'll try to turn the night to day
Make flowers bloom along the way

A cada dia farei uma boa ação
Ajudando quem está em aflição
Minha vida aqui é só um instante
Então farei o melhor que eu puder
O sol da vida já tá se pondo
Mais alguns dias e eu vou embora
Pra encontrar as ações que eu fiz
Onde não haverá mais pôr do sol
Ser um filho de Deus a cada dia
Minha luz deve brilhar pelo caminho
Cantarei Seus louvores enquanto o tempo passar
E me esforçarei pra ajudar alguma alma aflita
A única vida que vai perdurar
É aquela que é bondosa, boa e pura
Então, por Deus, eu vou me posicionar
A cada dia, uma mão estendida
Vou ajudar alguém na hora da necessidade
E seguir em frente com rapidez
Vou ajudar os doentes, pobres e fracos
E palavras de bondade a eles vou falar
Enquanto sigo pela estrada cansativa da vida
Vou tentar aliviar o fardo de algum viajante
Vou tentar transformar a noite em dia
Fazer flores brotarem pelo caminho
