The Call of The Raven King - Part II
Maidens passed from man to man
Children gutted for bloody sport
Temples sacked for gilded dross
Green fields running free with blood.
So many a noble deed was done.
The king of men called forth the guard
The farmers armed themselves with scythes
In battle the ravens killed and killed
And lost their company, one by one.
Back they went onto the high road,
Back they went, laden fat with wealth
Back they went, their weapons ripe with gore
Back they went to their nests.
No beast nor gate would bar their way.
The clouds were black behind their back,
The pretty valleys darkened as they passed
The beauty fled from such as they
These bloody crows turned men.
Back they went to their nests
One returned for every three
The Raven King was now content;
He didn't need the Form of ....Man.....
Their bellies now were full,
The ravens called upon their King.
Their nests were filled with hatchlings,
Hungry young forever needing food.
The ravens hailed their king.
O Chamado do Rei Corvo - Parte II
Donzelas passaram de homem pra homem
Crianças despedaçadas por diversão sangrenta
Templos saqueados por tralha dourada
Campos verdes correndo livres com sangue.
Tantas nobres ações foram feitas.
O rei dos homens convocou a guarda
Os camponeses se armaram com foices
Na batalha os corvos mataram e mataram
E perderam seu grupo, um por um.
Voltaram pelo caminho principal,
Voltaram, carregados de riqueza
Voltaram, suas armas encharcadas de sangue
Voltaram para seus ninhos.
Nenhum bicho nem portão barraria seu caminho.
As nuvens estavam negras atrás deles,
Os vales bonitos escureceram ao passar
A beleza fugiu de quem eram
Esses corvos sangrentos se tornaram homens.
Voltaram para seus ninhos
Um voltou para cada três
O Rei Corvo agora estava satisfeito;
Ele não precisava da Forma de ....Homem.....
Suas barrigas agora estavam cheias,
Os corvos chamaram seu Rei.
Seus ninhos estavam cheios de filhotes,
Jovens famintos sempre precisando de comida.
Os corvos saudaram seu rei.
