They're havin' a party at Jimmy's Jane and the gang will be there

I wanna go more than they know but I can't let her know that I care

If I see her I'd might go to pieces might even break down and cry

So when they ask me to go to their party well I just tell 'em my favorite lie

And I've waited so long for this movie if you don't mind I think I'll stay home

Now how can I go there and act like I don't care when I'm goin' out of my mind

For I'm no good at hidin' my feelings one look at me and they'd know

Just like before I still love her so I guess I'd better not go

Estão fazendo uma festa na casa do Jimmy, a Jane e a galera vão estar lá

Quero ir mais do que eles imaginam, mas não posso deixar ela saber que me importo

Então, quando me pedem pra ir à festa, eu só digo minha mentira favorita

Acho que vou ficar em casa e assistir ao filme da madrugada, meu ator favorito está no ar

E esperei tanto por esse filme, se não se importar, acho que vou ficar em casa

Sei que todo mundo vai estar dançando, rindo, se divertindo

Agora, como posso ir lá e agir como se não me importasse, se estou pirando?

Porque não sou bom em esconder meus sentimentos, um olhar e eles saberiam

Assim como antes, ainda a amo, então acho que é melhor eu não ir
