ever since i started working at the record store
i get to flirt with many girls than i did before
there are tall, short, blonde and brunette
but none can conversate me how we used to get
and lately i've been hearing about certain girlfriends
well, i hear they do things i do not recommend
i don't mean to preach, cause that may drive you away
but, i know that sorta stuff can damage your brain
when i see you with a boyfriend
i realize its a lot harder than i imagined
it gets hard to get so close
when i feel like i'm sharing the affection
i never show i'm jealous
start acting a little crazed

desde que comecei a trabalhar na loja de discos
eu flerto com muito mais garotas do que antes
tem altas, baixas, loiras e morenas
mas nenhuma consegue conversar como a gente costumava ter
ultimamente tenho ouvido sobre certas namoradas
bem, ouvi que elas fazem coisas que não recomendo
não quero pregar, porque isso pode te afastar
mas sei que esse tipo de coisa pode prejudicar sua cabeça
quando eu te vejo com um namorado
percebo que é muito mais difícil do que eu imaginava
fica difícil chegar tão perto
quando sinto que estou dividindo o carinho
nunca mostro que estou com ciúmes
começo a agir um pouco pirado
você pode não querer ouvir de mim de novo
