Lizard Skin
She fixed me with her hungry eyes
I couldn't move, she seemed to sigh
The signs she gave were almost clear
She asked me to believe in what she offered
and to loose my fear
The evening I got to her home
I found she didn't live alone
I couldn't stand her temptation, yet
Mankind's existence is threatened by so many things
When I closed my eyes
I felt she wasn´t really human
- So strange and yet so sweet
And when I opened my mind for her
- Singing whistling kind of speaking,
She said that she should know
What I'd need
And I need her
When I awoke, she wasn´t there
I tried to find her everywhere
The only sign, that I could find
Was the reptile skin that she had left behind

Ela me pediu para acreditar no que ela oferecia
e para perder meu medo
Na noite em que cheguei à casa dela
Descobri que ela não morava sozinha
Eu não consegui resistir à tentação, ainda assim
A existência da humanidade está ameaçada por tantas coisas
Quando fechei os olhos
Senti que ela não era realmente humana
- Tão estranha e ainda assim tão doce
E quando abri minha mente para ela
- Cantando, assobiando, uma espécie de fala,
Ela disse que deveria saber
O que eu precisaria
E eu preciso dela
Quando acordei, ela não estava lá
Tentei encontrá-la em todo lugar
O único sinal que consegui encontrar
Foi a pele de réptil que ela deixou para trás
