The Architect
An architect and his horse
Came to Asgard,
And offered to erect a wall,
To protect the mighty gods
From the wretched giants.
In exchange for this service,
He demanded a curious payment;
Th goddess Freyja, moon and sun.
Were to be delivered unto him
Panic grew among the gods
As the mighty wall arose
Soon the word will be done
And the awful debt must be paid
How can the gods
Part from moon and sun?
And deliver Freyja
To Jötunn hands?
In disguise
Loki lured the horse away
To prevent
Completion of the wall
"The architect retightened to Asgard
Only to find the Thunderer
Who answered his rage
By crushing his skull.

Um arquiteto e seu cavalo
Chegaram a Asgard,
E ofereceram erguer um muro,
Para proteger os deuses poderosos
Dos gigantes miseráveis.
Em troca desse serviço,
Ele exigiu um pagamento curioso;
A deusa Freyja, lua e sol.
Deveriam ser entregues a ele
O pânico cresceu entre os deuses
Enquanto o imenso muro se erguia
Logo a obra estará pronta
E a terrível dívida terá que ser paga
Como podem os deuses
Se separar da lua e do sol?
E entregar Freyja
Às mãos dos Jötunn?

Loki atraiu o cavalo para longe
Para impedir
A conclusão do muro
"O arquiteto voltou a Asgard
Apenas para encontrar o Trovão
Que respondeu à sua fúria
Esmagando seu crânio."
